SNIPPETS..... St Bees School Morris Dancing Team. In the July 2020 issue of the Bulletin an article by Robin Rigby (FS 72-79) appeared recalling the establishment of a school Morris Dancing team when G.W. Lees was Headmaster (click here) and concluded with an appeal to any OSBs who might have photographs of the team.
Some photographs have now been found by Chris Evans (FS 74-79), who also apparently discovered two pairs of his old school games’ socks whilst un-earthing the pictures! Robin is very grateful to Chris for finding these photos and hopes it may prompt others to go searching.
